Project Giving Hope

Give Love, Give Hope, Give Time... Be Winfield Kind

The Winfield Education Foundation and Winfield PTO are celebrating the holiday giving season with Project Giving Hope. Join us in giving love, hope, and warmth to those in our community who need it most!

Give LOVE through Project Elf - Partnering with local nonprofit organization, Kindness Matters at Emerson Elementary School, our district is participating in a holiday gift giving program, Project Elf. Families in financial hardship are invited to submit gift wishlists for their kids and we request donations from folks like you in our community to meet these requests.

This program’s success rests solely in the kindness and generosity of the community. If you would love to donate an item(s) or sponsor a child in need, or donate money, please email wef@winfield34.org. See some of our current wishlist items. Our goal is to have all gifts in hand by Dec. 11th so that we can make deliveries well in time to brighten their holiday season! We ask for new, unwrapped donations.

Give HOPE at our Giving Tuesday Blood Drive 11/30 - Join us for the most fun and festive blood drive yet! Make your appointment for Giving Tuesday, Nov. 30th at Winfield Central Gym, 3:30-7pm. You can also drop-off donations for Project Elf or the winter gear exchange and elves will be on hand to gratefully sort and package those donations! You can also donate blood anytime at the Winfield Versiti center (enter “Winfield 34” in the comments so they can track it) or even host a drive at your workplace or community location. Help fill an urgent need in our community. Please email wef@winfield34.org to sign up to donate gifts and gear or ask questions.

Give WARMTH through the Winter Gear Exchange - On Giving Tuesday 11/30, bring in those snowpants, coats and boots your family has outgrown. We are planning a winter gear exchange to let all families bring in stuff that no longer fits (good condition snow pants, boots, hats/gloves and coats) and take away stuff that does! All families are welcome and you do not have to donate to receive. You can also send your donations to the Winfield District 34 offices or Winfield Fire Department anytime.

We'd like to thank our program sponsors:

Lions Panzek Martial Arts has a promotion running that is $100 for 2 months of classes including a uniform. On Giving Tuesday 11/30, 100% of the money from New students signing up that day will be generously donated to WEF! https://panzek.com/
