Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!
Our mission to enhance School District 34 students’ educational opportunities and to support our community is made entirely possible through your generosity. Countless hours of volunteer support, monetary contributions to our programs, and community partnerships allow us to support families, staff, local business and organizations in our community and expand our reach and impact. Project Giving Hope
This year there are lots of ways to help out. Please consider WEF for this year's Giving Tuesday
If you would like to sponsor a child in our gift giving program or donate fund to help volunteers shop for needs please contact wef@winfield34.org or click here for more information
We are collecting gently used winter coats, snowpants, boots and insulated gloves, please feel free to drop off at either Winfield School Office (Central or Primary).
Winfield Community Giving Tuesday Blood Drive Tuesday 11/28/23
Our next Blood Drive will be Tuesday 11/28/23. Would you be willing to give an hour of your time for local patients in need? Slots are still available between 3:45 pm - 6:30 pm in the Central School Commons. Please feel free to make your appointment by clicking here . Donors must be 16 years or older. First time donors are always welcome and there is no need to know your blood type to donate. Great news is that many longtime deferrals around medication, travel and lifestyles have greatly changed in the last couple of months!
SPECIAL PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT:
We are pleased to announce our latest special project, funded through Tiger Runs and community support that made it possible to revamp our central school stage lighting and equipment. Be the first to see the lighting in action at this year's spring production Friday March 16th and Saturday March 17th.
The Winfield Education Foundation, a volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) organization, aims to raise and grant funds for programs that enhance and enrich District 34 students’ educational opportunities. Our vision is to partner with school administration, community and local business leaders, and the Parent Teacher Organization to support our community in becoming an incubator of ideas and innovation that fosters advancements in education.
