School supply drive

Help us provide school supplies for students in need and to address classroom needs throughout the year. Purchase high-need school supplies for Winfield area students and drop them at Lions Panzek Martial Arts, Kiki's Corner, Berger Bros Pub, Winfield Farmer's Market, or School District 34! We also accept online donations!

Community supporting community

In this year like no other, the Winfield Education Foundation (WEF) and District 34 Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) are incredibly grateful to all who helped us serve our community in a time of great need. Thanks to the generosity of business sponsors, donors and volunteers, we have found new ways to connect with our community and to support students and families, staff, local businesses, and essential workers. We have created an essential needs fund and collaborated with neighboring school districts to help families in crisis. We provided supports for remote learning and efforts to celebrate our staff and students. We worked to recognize our first responders and assisted living facility staff and residents, and also hosted blood drives with Versiti Blood Center. We held free Cook’s Night Outs to promote restaurants, shared news from local businesses, and created a Winfield To Go facebook group.

"Winfield To-Go" Facebook group

WEF has created a Winfield To-Go Facebook group, in partnership with the Greater Winfield Chamber of Commerce, to promote local businesses (restaurant, shopping & retail) and provide a reference for people looking to shop local. Please join Winfield To-Go at facebook.com/groups/winfieldiltogo.

Supporting families in need

Due to the generosity of our community, WEF has been able to create an "essential needs" fund to support students in need with winter gear and clothing, remote learning supports, and more. We have been collaborating our Wheaton, Carol Stream, and West Chicago neighbors to help families through the difficulties of this pandemic. Contact us to learn more about how you can help.

We are happy to find other creative ways to support our community. Please contact Eileen Tibble (wef@winfield34.org) and let us know how we can support you and we will do our best!

Thanks to the support of our community, WEF and PTO were successfully able to provide funding to launch Winfield Studios, podcast and green screen spaces that have provided innovate and unique learning opportunities for our students. THANK YOU for making a difference!
